I met Fredericko on new years day. He was staying with my new friend Wayra at a hostel in Montanita. Fredericko can be classed as many things; thug, skin head sharp, latino, student, immigrant and above all an amazing person. He opened my eyes to the real world surrounding Bogata´s innermost dealings with the skin head life. A life of crime and justice for what we all know as the common skin head. However, the term SHARP which I wasn´t aware of, was explained to me in long detailed discussions. Skin Heads Against Social Predjudicm. This is, skin heads against racism, but to put it straight, skin heads against Nazis. This term to me was a new idea, a new concept and a completely different way of thinking. A lifestyle choice which in now way reflects my own.
Fredericko is one of the most passionate young men I have ever met. He is a student of medicine, as his goal in life is to help people. He took a pledge, a life pledge to help people in need, he just go´s about it in an uncommon way. He was pushed out of Bogata by violence and the fear for his family. He has been stabbed numerous times and been in countless fights, not one could even trace the amount of life experience this man has. He lives by the mantra Drink, Fuck and Fight. This is Fredericko.
